Ava -Part Duex
So this is the last week of having a 7 year old. Next Sunday, I’ll be a mom of an 8 year old little girl and I’m having a love hate relationship with that reality. Each year I lose more and more of the little kid and see more and more of the big girl. I love one as much as I hate the other. But because of that I take as much video and pictures as I possibly can because although I have to lose the little of her I can at least bottle it up in my camera, not only for me but also for her. I want her to be able to look back at how spunky and sassy and funny and simply amazing she was as a child. So instead of being sad that I’m slowly losing my little baby girl, I’ll keep looking forward to watching her grow into who she’s supposed to become and continue to photograph her each step of the way.
After her photoshoot in San Francisco, we headed back across the Bay Bridge to Crab Cove Beach in Alameda and switched her into this beautiful white dress. She was close to being burnt out from shooting all afternoon so the spunky in her really came out during this portion and I got some of my absolute favorite images of her. She cracks me up. Even when she’s making funny faces she’s still as beautiful as ever. And that toothless smile! I know I’m bias but she’s darn cute! Happy 8th birthday my little crazy, beautiful, amazing child. I love you more than words could ever say.
