Oh how I adore this beautiful family! You know when you meet someone and you have that instant, we’ve known each other forever kind of connection? Well, that was this. I first met Dr. Josh as my daughter’s dentist about 7 years ago and we went through some crazy stuff with my daughters teeth and he always made everything ok, fun and not scary and my daughter just loved him. Then a couple years ago he, his wife and daughters walk into West Coast Training Center (my daughters gymnastics school) and decide to join the acrobatics team and sure enough his wife and I became instant friends as if it had been that way forever. My daughter and their daughters of course became instant besties and there you have it! They are truly an amazing family and I’m so thankful to have them in our lives and I was honored when they asked me to do these extended family portraits as a gift for their Mom.

Now if you guys read my blog enough you know I always preach about how much more valuable pictures of your family are than those amazing boots you’ve been eyeing. YES girl, I know. I know they are amazing and you have to have them but they will also be out of style and probably trashed in a couple of years and THESE, these will NOT. When their Mom received these images as a gift she cried. Seeing her babies like this was so emotional for her, it’s emotional for anyone who see’s pictures of their babies happy and healthy and loved. They are proud and seeing this brings so much happiness and joy. I call it The Power of a Portrait. I promise you, this is the best gift you can ever give to someone and especially older family members. They are the ones that have lived long enough to understand and appreciate what’s really important in life and THIS you guys, THIS is what is important.
