I could honestly write the longest blog post ever about how much I adore this girl, how amazing her family is, how much she’s helped me grow as a photographer, how much fun we’ve had over the past two years shooting weddings together and how much of an absolutely awesome friend she is. But I won’t……..go on for too long. Because after all, you’re here to see her pictures not to hear me babble on about how crazy I am about this family. But let me first just say how honored I was that Katie, of Katie Baldi Photography, asked me to do her family holiday pictures. It’s always such an honor when a photographer asks another photographer to take their pictures and a bit intimidating too! We shot their session at my family’s ranch in Livermore, CA (my absolute favorite place to shoot) and had a blast playing with the gator and hanging out on the ranch. Her kids are not only super good looking kids, I mean look at their parents!, but they are so.much.fun and have such fun personalities. They all totally worked the camera, I mean they are children of a photographer after all, and therefore made my job so easy.

Katie, thank you for being one of the bestest friends a girl could ask for. Thank you for sharing so much with me and trusting me not only to second shoot with you but to shoot these family portraits for you. You have such a special and amazing family and I’m so lucky to know you guys. And if you are in the San Carlos area, definitely check out her new studio space and have your pictures taken by her! You won’t be disappointed!
