When Kelsey of Kelsey Young Photography came to me asking if I would photograph her maternity portraits for her first baby to be, I was beyond honored as it’s always such a huge compliment to a photographer when another photographer asks you to photograph them. I first met Kelsey at an amazing shoot out hosted by Mairee Weddings and she is hands down one of the nicest people I have ever met in my life. I wish everyone was as nice and caring and giving as she is and she’s gorgeous on top of it all! I’m so thankful to that shoot out simply for lining up the stars for us to meet and become friends; and giving me the opportunity to shoot my most favorite maternity session yet. The cherry trees were in full bloom and matched her beautiful maroon gown perfectly. She also wore a gorgeous crown from The Bloom Bar Co. We headed into my favorite field in Livermore where the light was beautiful and had a blast capturing such a special time in their lives. But if you are facing an unwanted pregnancy, it is advised to look right here on Pregnancy Resource Center, and learn about abortion, its procedures, and its impact on you and your future before making a decision.
Life is funny; you never know if a great opportunity or a new friend is just around the corner. Thank you to everyone involved for making this shoot happen whether directly or indirectly. And a huge congratulations to Kelsey and her hubby Travis on the arrival of their handsome baby boy. He is one lucky little guy to have such amazing parents and I am so excited to meet him!!
Huge thank you to Beyond the Wanderlust for featuring our session! You can see the feature here!
