Woohoo! Spring family portraits time! It’s finally Spring and this year it’s actually a GREEN Spring here in Pleasanton. It’s almost foreign to us to see green rolling California hills since we’ve been in an awful drought the last few years but not this year! This year it’s green everywhere and it’s gorgeous! Add to these lush hills this stunning mama and her beautiful family and well, you pretty much get perfection. Renee is one of my very first clients that I ever photographed before they had their handsome son pictured here. It’s the best thing as a photographer to watch a family grow, see how their lives have changed and the happiness that children bring into your hearts. It all goes by so quickly and I love it when people value the importance of capturing these different stages like Renee’s family does. Renee has such great style and is so creative, always having her family dressed up so perfectly for her shoots. I mean this dress is amazing right?! For all those that have asked me, it was a lucky find on super clearance at….Burlington Coat Factory of all places!

We shot this years Spring mini family session on these gorgeous rolling hills in Pleasanton, California. There were all different shades of Spring green and even some beautiful bright pink trees that paired perfectly with Mom’s dress. Renee brought a sign that we wrote “10 Years Later” on to signify their 10th year together as a couple which was such a great idea! They also included their sweet pup who has always made an appearance in their family pictures and is such a good dog. Unfortunately this will probably be her last family portrait which made this session even more special. I was honored to be able to take these final photos for them.

There’s nothing else that can save a memory quite like a photograph. Take lots of them. Professional and simple. They are all so important.
