With my Bay Area Fall Mini sessions being announced, I thought I’d share some of the beautiful families I had the honor of photographing last fall. Last season was so incredibly busy with the crazy fires we had and shuffling shoots around, I never got the chance to share everyone’s mini sessions, but there’s no better time than the present, amiright?!

Summer is quickly coming to an end and with that starts my FAVORITE time of the year…..FALL!! The colors, the holidays, sweater weather, re-decorating my house for each upcoming event (its like Halloween and Christmas threw up in my house and I love it!), and of course…..FALL MINI SESSIONS! I usually do my mini sessions a little differently in that I have several weekends open for mini’s from September to November whereas many photographers open a weekend or two of minis and that’s it. I do this because I know it’s such a busy time of the year and I don’t want anyone to miss out. However, this year I have weddings booked most of September and October so I am slightly limited this year on available dates. That said, I have the first three weekends in November wide open just for minis and this is my favorite month to do mini sessions because the colors are in full effect and all traces of California summer dryness is gone.

In the meantime, here is the beautiful Correy Family at their Walnut Creek mini session last fall. A lot of clients ask me for ideas of what to wear and this is a great example! I love neutral with a color pop or contrast, everyone is coordinated but not “matching” aka No all white polos for everyone! I’m always happy to give you ideas before your session so if you’re stuck just let me know!  ~Sarah
