One of my favorite things about fall mini session season is getting to see this beautiful family. They’ve been with me since I started doing mini sessions and I’ve loved watching their family grow and being able to capture them each fall. Every year Sara puts together the most perfectly coordinated outfits for her family and they always look incredible. They’re actually the perfect Pinterest What to Wear board. Always dying to see what she comes up with each year!

Last fall, their session, like many others, was scheduled just as the Camp Fire had begun. Although we decided to keep their session these images leave a little footprint of the fires that raged through Northern California with the present haze in the background. I have never had to reschedule fall mini sessions so many times in one season but due to the poor air quality, which got so much worse after this day of minis, it was a constant shuffle and reschedule of minis through November. I am so grateful to all my clients who were so easy to work with in getting their session changed. Praying this season we stay fire free and everyone stays safe.
